DA Secretary Dar speaks on the Forum aimed to bring innovations and modernize the Agriculture Sector

Agriculture Secretary William D. Dar was guest of honor during the “Forum on Unleashing Innovation in Modernizing the Agriculture Sector’ last August 29. The forum was held at the RET Amphitheater. Above photo shows the Secretary delivering his message to a big audience from the academe, and from various sectors mostly farmers and fisherfolks, entrepreneurs, and leaders of Cooperatives. He emphasized the programs and activities to be carried out by the DA under his leadership that will innovate, strengthen and benefit the agriculture sector of the country. He also addressed questions posed by mostly farmers such as those that relate to what the government/DA could do to help them cushion the impacts of the recently implemented “Rice Liberalization Law (RA 11203).”
