Senator Villar, Governor Marcos visit CLSU

Senator Cynthia Villar and Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos paid CLSU a visit last January 20.

The two renowned public officials of the country who arrived separately in the morning of the said date were welcomed by a group of officials led by Dr. Tereso A. Abella, CLSU president. They were first received at the Office of the President.

Senator Villar and Governor Marcos were guests at the 5th UHAY Festival, one of the culminating activities of the more than one month celebrations of the Science City of Muñoz which commenced during the Science CityÙs 17th Charter Anniversary in December 2017.

After delivering her message at the Science City, Governor Marcos took time to visit three CLSU projects, to wit: CLSU Small Ruminant Center headed by Mr. Neal A. Del Rosario; Center for Tropical Mushroom Research and Development headed by Dr. Sofronio P. Kalaw; and the CLSU Hydroponics and Aquaponics Project headed by Dr. Chito F. Sace.

President Abella and the project heads briefed Governor Marcos about the notable activities, researches, and programs and projects of the University.
