CLSU-CF produces 2 topnotchers in Fisheries Technologists Exam

Two graduates of the CLSU College of Fisheries (CLSU-CF) made it to the Top 10 in the Licensure Exam for Fisheries Technologists administered by the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Fisheries in October 2017.

They are Mr. Marwin Buenaventura dela Cruz, 3rd place, who obtained a rating of 86.50% and Mr. Jerome Jacob Quidasol, 9th place, with a rating of 84.25%.

Mr. Buenaventura who hails from Brgy. Masukol, Paombong, Bulacan graduated cum laude in 2016. He is currently pursuing Master of Science in Aquaculture at the College of Fisheries.

Mr. Quidasol, on the other hand, is a native of Portal, Rizal, Nueva Ecija. He graduated on July 1, 2017.

According to Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, CF dean, CLSU obtained a passing percentage of 71.88% (23 out of 32) which was way above the national passing rate of 32.24%.

Dr. Tereso A. Abella, CLSU president, congratulated the CF faculty and staff and the passers. He also encouraged the CF as well as the other colleges to continue giving their best to ensure that graduates will obtain even higher passing percentages in ensuing licensure exams.
