CLSU garners Overall Championship of CAASUC III

Central Luzon State University emerged overall champion of the 2017 Culture and Arts Festival of State Universities and Colleges, Region III (CAASUC III) held at the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy last October 26-28.

It bested 12 other participating institutions.

CLSU won the championship in six dance, literary and musical contests, to wit; Chorale Competition; Indigenous Dance; Extemporaneous Speaking; Vocal Solo; Instrumental Solo; and Poster Making.

It also won in the Mr. & Miss CAASUC III Pageant.

Moreover, CLSU landed 1st runner-up in Dagliang Talumpati, Essay Writing, Short and Sweet Play, Vocal Duet, Photography and Folk Dance; and 2nd runner-up in Pagkukuwento, among other contests.


The CLSU Maestro Singers grabbed the championship of the Chorale Competition.


The CLSU Gintong Ani-Philippines is champion in Indigenous Dance.
