ZERO HUNGER BILL FORUM - Hon. Karlo Alexei B. COOLING THE DAY WITH TILAPIA ICE CREAM - Hon. Karlo Alexei B. Nograles (center), Former Cong. Joseph Gilbert Violago (2nd from right), and his wife Congresswoman Micaela S. Violago (right), cool the warm afternoon with CLSU tilapia ice cream produced and distributed at the UMART, the one-stop outlet of CLSU products. With them in photo are President Tereso A. Abella and Prof. Dana G. Vera Cruz, chair of the Department of Hospitality Management of the College of Home Science and Industry, who were both mainly instrumental in the development of the multi-awarded novelty ice cream with brand name “Daerry’s Tilapia Ice Cream”.

CLSU garnered Top 1, Top 2, and Top 10 places in the Agriculturist Licensure Examination (ALE) administered by the Board of Agriculture last June 2018. CLSU, which obtained a passing rate of 66.9%, is next to UP in terms of school performance in the said exam. The national passing is 38.14%. ...
