CLSU recognizes Research proponents

RESEARCH PROPONENTS – Faculty and staff researchers whose research proposals were granted substantial funding by various government institutions were recognized by the university through certificates of commendation.

The three groups of researchers who are shown here with President Abella and the four vice presidents, the title of their respective researches, and their corresponding fundings are as follows:

Title of Research: “Formulation and Assessment of the Recombinase Polymerase Amplification (RPA), Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) for the Rapid Detection of Important Pathogens in Organic Farming”.

Researchers:   Rubigilda Paraguison-Alili, Clarissa Yvonne J. Domingo, Fe. L. Porciuncula, Lani Lou Mar A. Lopez, Ellen S. Romero, Celynne O. Padilla and Aileen M. Elegado

Title of Research: “Industry-Focused Technologies, Innovations and Knowledge for Livelihood, Income and Food Supply Enhancement (ITIK for LIFE) Program for Sustainability of the Philippine Duck Industry”

Researchers:   Ramon Cesar D. Salas, Jamal James D. Manlapig, Joice V. San Andres, Vanessa S. Viterbo, Eddie J. Rafael and Oliver F. Celestino

Title of Research: “Research and Development Project to Rehabilitate and Enhance Productivity in Lahar and Ash-Laden Areas in Central Luzon”

Granting Institution: Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD)

Two graduates of the CLSU College of Fisheries (CLSU-CF) made it to the Top 10 in the Licensure Exam for Fisheries Technologists administered by the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Fisheries in October 2017.
