CLSU athletes win medals in Arnis National Championship

A group of CLSU student-athletes won in the 107th Baguio Day Charter Arnis National Championship 2016 held last September 9-11 at the Baguio Convention Center.

The CLSU team earned 1 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Frederick dela Cruz of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) was the gold winner.

The silvers were grabbed by Jeremy Manite and Kevin Lazo, also of the CAS; while the bronze medals were obtained by Thea Isabelle Diamson of the College of Home Science and Industry; Ellen Mae Mento of the College of Fisheries; and Pauline Salazar and Praise Aiah Ancheta of the College of Education.

Two graduates of the CLSU College of Fisheries (CLSU-CF) made it to the Top 10 in the Licensure Exam for Fisheries Technologists administered by the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Fisheries in October 2017.
