The Central Luzon State University takes pride in having produced recently 32 full - fledged certified public accountants and 10 chemists.
According to Prof. Rodrigo Lucena, head of the Accounting Program of the CLSU-College of Business Administration and Accountancy, the new CPA’s were among 55 examinees from CLSU who took the exams last October 9,10,16 and 17.
CLSU posted a passing rate of 58% which is again way above the national passing percentage of 48%.
Meanwhile, 10 examinees from the Department of Chemistry – College of Arts and Sciences passed the licensure exam for chemist held last September 7-8. Prof. Joel Salazar, department chair, said that a 40% passing was scored by the university.
